An exciting opportunity exists for a fixed term part time Customer Administration Officer Part Time Customer Administration Officer, Moranbah About the Position: An exciting opportunity exists for a fixed term part time Customer Administration Officer in our Water and Waste Directorate based in Moranbah. This part time role will conclude in December 2025 . Reporting to the Team Leader – Customer Administration this position provides customer service and administrative support to the Water and Waste Directorate. The Water and Waste Directorate (W&W) is an integrated, multifaceted service responsible for managing and maintaining safe, quality water supply, reliable wastewater collection and treatment service, and waste management functions and operations for the Isaac Regional Council communities. These services are managed in alignment with regulatory and legislative requirements. In this position, some of the duties you will be responsible for are: Provide excellent customer service to clients and customers, resolving queries where possible and ensuring the requirements of the Customer Service Charter and W&W Customer Service Standards are maintained; Assist in providing financial assistance, including requisitions and task numbers, orders, expenditure reports and budget control reports; Assist in compiling meeting reports, taking meeting minutes and allocating actions in Council systems; Maintain and monitor plumbing and other requests and update status’ in Council systems; Provide administrative support, including word processing, spread sheeting, data entry, drafting of correspondence, photocopying and general office duties to assist in the efficient running of the W&W Directorate; Ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS) to Safety, Environmental and Quality Standards and assist the W&W Directorate to continuously improve their processes. High-level administrative and computer skills, including previous experience in word processing, spread sheeting, data entry, drafting of correspondence, photocopying and general office duties. Customer service skills, including experience in the documentation and following up on un-actioned requests. A current C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence.
