The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for a Parliamentary Service Level 5 ICT Infrastructure Administrator & ICT Systems Administrator within Digital Customer Services Branch. The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is seeking highly motivated, dynamic, and experienced ICT professional to fill the roles of ICT Systems Administrator and ICT Infrastructure Administrator within the Infrastructure Platforms and Operations team. DPS has over 1,000 staff and provides a diverse range of services and functions to support The Australian Parliament and custodianship of Australian Parliament House (APH). These services and functions include but are not limited to, physical security; reporting and broadcasting; library and research services; catering; visitor and art services; and the provision of ICT equipment and services at both APH and at Electorate Offices Australia-wide. We are looking for people to assist in the work of the Infrastructure Platforms and Operations team, primarily in the support of ICT systems used for the broadcasting and support of Parliament, virtualised and cloud ICT Infrastructure, compute and storage, data centre administration and support. The right candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work under limited supervision, in a team environment and individually, and have proven experience in a range of different ICT eco-systems. Applicants should be able to adapt to, and embrace, emerging and changing technologies in support of the Parliament of Australia Digital Strategy, with a willingness to learn new skills through both formal and on the job training. This includes a cloud-first approach to ICT systems and infrastructure.
