Full-Time - 80 hours per fortnight (with ADO) Managers and Administrative Worker Grade 1 Located at Sandringham Hospital Great Staff Benefits, Including Salary Packaging, 5 Weeks Annual Leave & Monthly ADO's DEPARTMENT: Sandringham Operating Suite Services provides services in General Surgery, Orthopaedics, and Gynecology and Obstetrics, both emergency and elective surgery. We provide elective services for Ophthalmology and Dermatology. We have 3 Operating Rooms, and 8 Recovery bays. We work closely with the Emergency Department, Wards and Day Procedure Centre to provide a patient focused service. POSITION: Responsible for the coordination of communication, patient services and clerical functions as directed by the Nurse Manager of designated ward or department. Word Processing (as applicable) Facilitate communication within the ward Arrange and coordinate patient services Clerical Duties including stores and receipting and processing invoices Promote and maintain good customer relations with patients, visitors, and other hospital personnel. If necessary to be away from desk area, ensure the registered nurse in charge of the ward is notified. Be aware of role during emergency procedures.
