Our service gives adults living in Barwon South West region access to world class cancer treatment. Based in Geelong, we have state-of-the-art facilities, equipment and highly skilled health professionals who provide personalised treatment and care. Chemotherapy, haematology and radiotherapy services are provided in Baxter Wing 6 at University Hospital Geelong. About the role As the successful applicant your primary objective is to provide confidential administrative support to Cancer Services working within Barwon Health. Other duties include but are not limited to: Receiving visitors to the centre and directing them to appropriate locations Answering telephones and directing calls appropriately Making appointments - internally and externally Registering all new patients onto the Hospital computer system and on the Cancer Services computer system Booking transport, interpreter services, accommodation, ambulance services, as required Updating of statistics for clinics by updating of booking screens for patients who attend, cancel Admitting and discharging of patients About the culture ALCC is a progressive centre and encourages a team environment.
