Your new role The claims administrator will play a key support role in the bereavement centre by efficiently assisting the team to meet service deliverables and supporting the evolution of the death claims process. Key duties include but are not limited to: Support the team in managing internal and external insurance claim inbox enquiries Assist with workflow management through the indexing of new items received via post and email Creation and allocation of insurance claims cases Co-ordinate the daily mail requirements of the Bereavement Centre, for both incoming and outgoing items Engage and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and service providers such as Administrators and insurance providers, to build positive working relationships Ensure that the Bereavement Centre appropriately contribute to the ongoing provision of all Member Operations services and service standards required by other Fund Domains Eg. Member, Retirement etc. the Member Domain What you'll need Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to proofread, spelling & English grammar skills Use of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) Previous experience in an office environment Relevant experience in a similar role (with an administrator or in superannuation insurance) Excellent organisational abilities to manage tasks according to priority Meticulous attention to detail and pride in performance Ability to work autonomously and pro-actively without supervision and to set own work plan to meet deadlines Ability to identify & drive improved ways of working and present new solutions for discussion Life at AustralianSuper AustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, and we support our people with ongoing learning, coaching and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding global organisation.
