Based at our state of the art showroom in Melbourne, we have a fantastic client facing sales opportunity for a Design & Selection Consultant to provide electrical design & selection services for the innovative Clipsal by Schneider Electric residential product offer. Reporting to the National Sales Manager - Clipsal Design Service, the key requirements of the role will be the delivery of sales specification, design & selection services, exceptional customer experience, and sales support for residential builders and clients. At your disposal will be a fully fitted product Selection Showroom, enabling you to demonstrate the very best of our residential product offer including electrical, lighting, data & communications, air movement, and award-winning smart home & energy efficiency / sustainability solutions. Specific responsibilities will include but are not limed to: Achieving sales performance excellence Providing an exceptional customer experience Demonstrating product offer and the benefits of clever electrical design Design and specification of electrical, lighting, air movement, data & communications, and smart home & energy efficiency / sustainability solutions Supporting the external sales team to secure new business opportunities Maintaining relationships with residential builders and clients Maintaining product and pricing databases Required Skills and Experience: Proven customer service and retail / consumer sales experience (essential) Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to quickly build rapport with clients Highly developed time management and organizational skills Strong computer literacy skills Self-motivated and proactive work ethic The successful candidate must have proven experience in achieving sales performance excellence, providing exceptional customer service, and possess a keen interest in the design & specification of electrical, lighting, air movement, data & communications, and smart home & energy efficiency / sustainability solutions. Previous sales experience in electrical, lighting, or the residential building industry is desirable but not essential, with all training provided.
