Reporting directly to the General Manager of Corporate Services, you will be responsible for the successful implementation and maintenance of our technical tools and software, including but not limited to POS systems, inventory and labor management software, and file management software. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy backend microservices hosted in Azure/AWS Cloud (Azure Functions, container applications, web apps) and APIs primarily using ASP .NET Core, with C#, and .NET. Craft high-quality, secure, testable, maintainable code that is not over-engineered. Own the quality of what we build through testing, test automation, and observability to ensure operational reliability and performance. Analyze business requirements and problem-solve to create the right solutions for our customers. Participate in code reviews with other engineers to provide feedback to ensure we maintain quality standards and compliance. Maintain and improve our documentation across codebases, architectures, and our knowledge bases. Collaborate in our cross-functional Product Management and Engineering teams to plan and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. Be an impactful contributor to the team, planning, designing, and building elegant solutions. Essential Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development. Previous experience as a Backend Engineer. Proficiency in coding languages including JavaScript, Python, HTML, CSS, PHP, MSSQl, SQL, JSON, and PowerShell. Experience with PowerBI. Knowledge of operating systems and data communication. Familiarity with AWS. Desirable Skills: Experience with API integration, particularly with Tanda, BuyForce, Macomatix, Eddapp, Power BI, Iauditor, Mendrehub, Google Maps, Verkada, Chatgpt, Office 365, Redcat, and Imagtec. Familiarity with communication platforms and SAAS providers such as Betterchains, Shopperlogic, CrunchTime, Cooking the books, Macromatrix, Mendre Hub, Netsuite, WorldManager, Microsoft Office 365, Tanda HR, Edapp, Monday.com, Sharepoint, Team Viewer, Over the Wire, FireFlies, and One Note.
