This key leadership position carries the responsibility of ensuring that the services delivered by Design Managers and Design Delivery Coordinators facilitate optimised design solutions, meeting internal and external customers’ schedule and budget requirements, operating in alignment with Powerlink’s policies, procedures and standards. And you'll do it with down-to-earth people who you're proud to work with and get to know. Here's how: You’ll coach and mentor team members in formulating design delivery strategies, engaging in negotiations with key stakeholders, and advising on strategic project decisions to effectively address conflicting interests and priorities in the best interest of Powerlink. You’ll contribute to the leadership of Design Solutions through the active engagement and participation in working groups with other Team Leaders, Managers and other internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for resource planning and coordination to ensure timely design delivery and successful project outcomes. The community you will join Based at our Virginia office, you’ll join a supportive Design Solutions group that forms part of our Delivery and Technical Solutions division. Our team values collaboration and innovation in everything we do. Your expertise You’ll have a relevant qualification in engineering, design or an allied discipline with design experience . You’ll have experience in leading a team, resource planning, work allocation and coordination for both internal and external resources.
