ABOUT THE ROLE: Summary of the role: We are seeking a dynamic, motivated and experienced Administrative Assistant to provide efficient and confidential administrative support to the General Medicine Unit including administrative oversight of the junior medical workforce. The role supports the Heads of Unit, in their leadership positions, including meeting support, diary management and recruitment. The role assists the junior medical workforce including the administering of their rosters, supporting the on boarding of new doctors and payroll. General Medicine Department 0.8 EFT Fixed Term Contract until 30/6/2024 HS2 Classification Casual administrative assistants to support the various Heads of Units Active casual pool HS2 Classification All located at Werribee Mercy Hospital ABOUT YOU: Proven skills and experience as an administrative assistant including administering the workforce rosters, agenda and minute taking, and diary management (essential) Demonstrated experience working with people at all levels and working within a complex environment An understanding of health care in the public sector Flexible with ability to adapt to changing work environments and competing priorities and work to deadlines Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail with the ability to learn quickly and work independently Proficiency in the use of MS Office including word and excel at an intermediate leve ABOUT US: Werribee Mercy Hospital is a General Public Hospital located in the rapidly growing Western suburbs of Melbourne.
