It is a privately owned, locally based company that specializes in various aspects of international freight, 3PL, project logistics, and warehousing. Your New Role - Warehouse Operator This is a varied role and will cover all aspects of warehousing in support of the team. As such it demands a high level of accuracy and strong aptitude. Proficiency with computers and familiarity with the administration requirements of warehousing are essential. We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic, and experienced Warehouse Operator to join our client's team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting with receiving and checking all freight into the warehouse in accordance with our Warehouse Receiving SOP Ensuring all incoming freight is accurately and timely weighed, measured, and receipted Ensuring all incoming freight is accurately and timely line item checked against vendor paperwork Ensuring that all freight is received in good condition, reporting any issues and damages to the Warehouse Team Leader Conducting forklift operations Preparing, picking, packing, and labeling goods for dispatch What you will need to succeed Previous Warehouse Operator experience Previous experience and know how in a similar warehousing role. A high level of customer service. The ability to prepare & pick sales orders for dispatch as required. A hands-on approach to load, pack, wrap, label and ship orders Previous Inventory experience and stock orders ensuring the overall accuracy. Good computing skills and computerized stock ordering know how. Good forklift driving ability. The ability to contribute effectively in all aspects of warehousing. Heavy lift experience and container pack/unpack expertise. Previous experience with Carton Cloud is preferred.
