About the role: As a Maintenance Officer, you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent's Care Service, Mitchelton. Things that work for us: Ability to work on a casual basis Trade qualifications in carpentry, plumbing or similar desirable Ability to perform maintenance works Excellent customer service skills with the ability to problem solve Aged, Health or Community care experienced preferred Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and sound computer skills Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights and responsibilities and ability to follow directives as per care plan Current flu and COVID-19 vaccinations (3) and National Police Certificate NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role.
