The position of Engineering Manager requires being involved in the day to day functions of engineering designs, equipment selections, design reviews, alternative design submissions and tendering proposals. What You’ll be Doing Working with Project Managers, Estimators and Contractors main tasks shall include: Review consultant design drawings and specifications and other relevant project documentation to determine the scope of works required for the project. Carryout re-design, Value Management and raise technical queries as required on tender enquiries to determine the plant layouts and system capacities. Carryout engineering design and calculations to provide system design for construction documentation. Provide final equipment selections including required capacities and efficiencies for procurement and construction. Planning and Execution of the project Engineering Program Engineering engagement with Industry as part of a holistic contract management approach Carryout and site inspections to ensure the HVAC installation is in line with the relevant documentation and specifications. Witness commissioning of HVAC system in ensure equipment and building is operating at optimum performance.
