The Role The Senior Legal Counsel will be working directly with the Head of Legal and Compliance, as part of a team function responsible for managing all the legal compliance obligations for the business. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to: · Providing legal advice & support to all business units · Working as an SME providing legal advice on ASIC & APRA regulations · Overseeing legal risk management controls · Legislative and regulatory monitoring · Liaising with executives and broader business to deliver on strategic initiatives and provide legal support. · Working with external legal services and counsel. · Providing guidance on governance, compliance and risk management for the broader business · Ad-hoc duties as required.
