As we embark on the next stage of our ambitious growth plan, we are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Officer to join our busy contact centre based at our Melbourne Head Office, in Preston. About the role Our Customer Service Officers play an important role in keeping our customers satisfied by ensuring that all queries are responded to in a timely and professional manner. Working as part of the Customer Service Team within our contact centre environment, your primary focus as a Customer Service Officer will be to respond to and resolve customer enquiries using a variety of channels, predominantly via telephone but also using email and the web. Although two days are rarely the same in our busy contact centre, your day-to-day work will require you to: Provide a superior level of customer service to customers by responding to, and resolving, customer queries. Respond to customer questions in a timely manner, verbally or in writing, through various channels, including telephone, email, website and social media. Provide resolution for general enquiries, on-line orders, product and service. Follow a range of procedures to ensure all work is carried out to required quality standards and ensure adherence to external regulatory requirements and internal standard operating procedures. Meet set targets and key performance indicators. Administration duties as required. About you To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate that you have: Minimum of 2 years experience working within customer service, in a contact and call centre environment Motivated by KPIs and working in a structured environment A confident and professional telephone manner. High level verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in spoken and written English language.
