Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager, the Accounts Administrator is responsible for providing high-quality professional and confidential support to the Finance Team. The ideal candidate should have a preferred educational background in finance or a related field, relevant experience, proficiency in accounting software, and strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and forward-thinking mindset to manage responsibilities effectively and engage with stakeholders. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: • Handle Accounts Payable and Receivable for diverse corporate entities and properties. • Monitor Accounts Payable and Receivable inboxes to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments. • Verify and process purchase orders accurately, adhering to established procedures and guidelines. • Handle creditor inquiries and assist with supplier contract management, including setting up suppliers in the property management system. • Conducted credit card reconciliations for corporate accounts and issued monthly rental invoices promptly and accurately. We are looking for someone who is: • Experience in finance or administration (required); • Experience using XERO; • Experience using property management systems, such as MRI or Yardi (highly desirable) • Proficiency in accounting software (required); • Experience in a similar role (desired); • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines; • Self-motivation with the ability to use initiative when problem-solving; • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; • Attention to detail and a high level of pride in your work; and • A forward-thinking mindset and a proactive approach.
