6 month contract Based in Sydney CBD Hybrid working model. Role and responsibilities: Lead the implementation and enhancement of Devops practices tailored to the unique needs of our banking client. Collaborate closely with technical teams to design and deploy robust, secure and scalable infrastructure solutions on Azure. Drive automation initiatives using PowerShell scripting to streamline processes to ensure compliance with industry standards. Continue research on industry trends and best practices whilst optimising our DevOps processes to meet evolving industry needs Essential skills Minimum 5 years hands on experience in DevOps with a strong emphasis and background in Azure Devops Powershell scripting experience not essential providing the individual is happy to learn -Experience working on DevOps Tools such as GIT, JIRA, Azure DevOps Server, Jenkins and Artifactory -Experience in automation tool sets/languages such YAML, Powershell, Puppet, Bash, etc Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders A background in financial industry is not essential however will be highly regarded.
