Design Manager (Consultancy) — The Rocks, Sydney

This role presents an exciting opportunity to oversee the design process and ensure exceptional standards across various projects. Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive design guidelines and standards for projects to align with client visions. Establish and maintain relationships with preferred designers and contractors to support project requirements. Coordinate design workshops and meetings with clients and design teams to conceptualize retail, hospitality, tertiary education spaces effectively. Conduct regular design reviews to ensure compliance with established standards and client expectations. Provide final design approvals and prepare detailed reports and presentations for project stakeholders. Facilitate weekly coordination meetings with internal teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives. Monitor the progress of design plans and ensure timely approvals to meet project milestones. Conduct quality assurance checks on design implementation to uphold project integrity and quality standards. Foster strong client relationships and effectively communicate project progress and updates. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture. Previous experience in Design Management within a consultancy environment. Demonstrated expertise in retail design and project management. Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines. Exceptional problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills. Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
