The Opportunity The STEM Learning Designer is responsible for developing and implementing innovative and effective online learning strategies that reflect current best practice in this area. This role will work with academic and technical employees to create STEM online learning programs that comply with agreed quality standards, whilst also ensuring that the online design optimises the student learning experience. About You To be successful in this role you will have: Experience in tertiary teaching environments, including online, that addresses contemporary approaches to STEM teaching and learning and encompasses learner-centred, flexible education. Demonstrated experience in innovative design and delivery methods and tools for online teaching of STEM subjects. Demonstrated high standard of interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously and deliver quality output to competing deadlines. The ability to prioritise and organise workflow in a challenging, fast-paced environment - project management experience will be highly regarded. Provide leadership in the Learning Design team on best practice for STEM online learning and teaching. Knowledge and experience in the use of online Learning Management Systems, such as Blackboard An appropriate post graduate tertiary qualification in education or relevant a STEM discipline would be highly regarded.
