The role We are currently seeking a Sales Executive to successfully manage a territory of existing accounts, drive new business initiatives, and contribute to the growth of our client, a global company. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage a territory of existing accounts, including the diligent servicing of major accounts. Develop and maintain relationships with major customers to minimize account loss and increase revenue. Proactively target and win new customer accounts in line with the business sales strategy. Maximize the profitability of existing customers through the introduction of new products, rate increases and proactive account management. Maintain a focus on new customer and pipeline initiatives. Proactively source business that reduces relocation costs through the movement of equipment under load. Manage costs associated with sales and marketing in line with the budget. Manage sales and financial reporting in line with the sales territory. Develop an autonomous and independent role with the intent to be active/on the road in the marketplace four to five days a week. The Candidate Proven experience in account management and sales, preferably in the logistics industry. Strong understanding of customer relationship management systems. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to identify potential account opportunities. Strong sales skills with an ability to close deals.
