We are growing rapidly and Toll has great opportunity for a Temp Warehouse Operations Manager at our Yennora site. This is temp/fulltime working Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm. Whilst it is a Temp role, who knows where it could take you… Key Responsibilities Manage all daily operations of warehouse and distribution efficiently and safely in accordance with all customers requirements Plan all activities on day to day and month to month basis Provide direct leadership to team of Pick Packers, Customer Service, Receive/Dispatch, Inventory and Team Leaders Ensure WHS/OHS is number one priority at all times and all workers adhere to the highest level of care and safety towards themselves and others Ensure the operations function is staffed, organised and managed effectively Ensure systems are used and people are trained to the highest standards Develop strong relationships with all clients, internal stakeholders and any regulatory bodies Ensure all regulatory compliance is adhered to Maintain all work records to ensure correct invoicing Be actively involved in tool box talks, safety conversations and incident reporting Ensure all work is compliant with all laws, regulations and Toll policies Be adaptable, fix processes, monitor costs and identify areas to improve operational efficiency Perpetuate a positive team culture that facilitates continuous improvement Adhoc duties as required Skills & Experience Essential hands on experience as a Warehouse/DC Operations Manager and/or experience with the duties that are described above Must be honest, transparent, be able to handle adversity and challenging situations with a view to driving outcomes Must have WMS experience and be very tech savvy Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions quickly Have a safety-first mentality Excellent customer service skills and relationship management skills Must be competent, responsible and give instructions with firm but empathetic approach Citizen or PR essential Benefits Excellent hourly rate Mon-Fri Work Life Balance for those who value family time Work unsupervised with support from management Potential to lead into other divisions of Toll and develop your career Employee Assistance Program: Support you or your family needs with our confidential employee wellbeing assistance programme Other 3 rd party benefits through hotels etc About Toll People Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
