Join the winning team today The Retail Operations Consultant is integral to the success to The Lottery Corporation's Channel team. The role provides dedicated support to approximately 300 retail outlets, providing support that allows retailers to focus on growing sales from The Lottery Corporation products and services, and improve the viability of their overall business. While the role is not field-based, it plays a vital role in supporting field-based Business Development Managers by offering insights and influencing a network of franchisee retailers to enhance their business. What you'll do Assist Business Development Managers (BDMs) by offering actionable insights that can help influence retailer behaviour and improve their effectiveness in improving customer satisfaction and revenue. Provide insight and assistance to BDMs as they prepare site visit plans, helping maximise productivity from their visit. Provide ad hoc support to retailers who need assistance with materials or other requirements of The Lott, such as the content of a report, or other processes, to help them understand how it applies to their business. Regularly monitor fundamental competencies including but not limited to retailers completing training, retailer attendance at mandatory events (which may be virtual), formal recordkeeping of site standards improvement plans, and supporting individual retailers as they remedy any other non-compliance measures. Participating in interviews of prospective retailers and their team, using defined frameworks to assess their suitability to be a franchisee under the The Lott master brand. What you'll bring Preferred qualifications include prior experience in operations support or a related field. Familiarity with virtual support methods is a plus. Proficiency in compliance requirements, industry standards, and best practices within highly regulated industries, such as gambling, is highly desirable. Effective virtual communication and interpersonal skills for building connections with franchisees, field consultants, and internal teams.
