About the Role To deliver on our ongoing commitment to our customers , we are now needing to add a key member to our Customer Service team. Reporting directly to the Customer Service Team Leader the Customer Service Officer will need to ensure we deliver exceptional service, advise and support to our customers in successful and timely manner. Customer queries and resolution may include product queries, returns, delivery and customer orders. It is critical that the new incumbent is resilient in their ability to handle a high volume of customer queries in this fast-paced environment. You will naturally be empathetic and your professionalism in ensuring we are aligned with impactful, and results driven resolution for all key stakeholders will a key asset you bring to this role. Role Details Start Date - ASAP Location - Grey Lynn Shift & Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts between 8am – 5.30pm Training: On-site training & buddy assigned Key responsibilities and requirements of this role: Take ownership of all customer issues Escalate unresolved problems to the appropriate stores or managers and ensure that they take the appropriate action to resolve it. Complete administrative duties including data entry and follow-up calls. Responding to and resolving customer issues via phone, email, and our web portal Providing and communicating product and service expertise and knowledge to customers Meet set targets and KPIs as agreed with the customer services team. Fulfil general administrative duties such as developing standard operating procedures and relevant customer services templates. Experience and Qualifications 1-3 years proven face to face customer support or contact-centre/ call-centre experience Excellent data entry and administration skills Excellent written and verbal business communication skills Strong attention to detail and questioning mindset Active listener with strong ability to quickly build rapport with customers to identify and resolve issue in a timely and supportive manner. Highly organised and with an ability to prioritise and multitask Strong computer based and technical skills A relevant qualification on contact centre qualification will be desirable but not essential What do we offer in return?
