This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large design-led organisation and contribute to a well-established and hugely successful category. You are a strong creative who is passionate about creating and designing commercial and innovative products, and seeking to build an exciting career. Your new role as a Design Assistant at BONDS… Supporting the Designers in the creation and execution of future concepts and product: Assist with seasonal colour and textile print developments. Prepare work requests for new style prototypes, development packs and Tech Data sheets Liaise with garment technicians on work requests and follow up on sample developments Complete small design projects under the guidance of your Manager Use creative forecast services, magazines, colour authorities, websites, and market analysis to assist in providing information for trend directions, story boards and project work Collaborate and develop strong relationships with cross functional teams and our international sourcing teams Prepare quality presentations and sales tools for internal range showings, sales conferences, retail range showings What experience you can bring to us? A degree in fashion design An understanding of fit and construction An innovative and creative approach to design & development Intermediate to High level experience in Excel and Adobe Creative Suite essential Curiosity and team player capability Packaging development/ componentry awareness Previous exposure to PLM system (preferred) Proven track record in similar design/ product related role Passion for building, developing and optimising process and practice with sustainability and community in mind What can we offer you?
