Site Engineer Georgiou Group has partnered with ACCIONA Construction Australia to deliver the first stage of the Gold Coast's largest road infrastructure project. The project will involve construction of six new bridge structures in an environment with unique geotechnical conditions and challenging interfacing on a gazetted green-field site. About the role: Based at our site offices in Coomera and reporting to the Project Engineer, the Site Engineer will assist with the coordination and management of technical issues, planning, resourcing, survey, procurement, and quality control for an assigned area. Additionally, the Site Engineer will: Assist in maintaining the project's schedule/program Assist with the planned use of materials, resources and systems Undertake, monitor, and report project tasks to deliver profit and effective cost control Provide daily support and technical input to achieve contract obligations and tender specifications while ensuring that processes are implemented to identify, control, mitigate and report significant risks and opportunities Ensure works are compliant with the project's environmental requirements Planning the works to comply with the project's local community requirements and restrictions What you're good at: Aside from having relevant tertiary qualifications, you will ideally have 2-3 years' experience in a construction or engineering environment, in addition to some knowledge in at least one of the followiing areas: Bridges, structures, piling or marine works.
