Key responsibilities: Loading and unloading goods including inspection, dispatch and issuing inventory Ensuring inventory records are maintained including stocktaking, stock monitoring, stock returns and excess stock disposals Coordinating freight movement and associated transport companies Ensuring all materials, supplies, tools and equipment are requisitioned, received, examined and recorded Review inventory, records and departmental uses of supplied in order to prevent over stocking of materials with lower turnover rate Make-up orders ready for shipping, including manual handling of sliding sheets onto stacks Communicate effectively with customers and other stakeholders to ensure timely, safe and accurate product delivery About You Current LF Forklift Ticket Demonstrated experience in a warehouse environment, experience with fibre cement/plasterboard products is highly regarded Experience operating a 5/7t forklift Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate at all levels Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines Ability to work autonomously within a team environment Basic computer literacy.
