Forklift Operator — Darwin Region, Northern Territory

Northline are seeking experienced Forklift drivers to join our Darwin team. Ideally you will enjoy working in a small team, have strong multi-tasking skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an experienced Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of PUD, linehaul and containers with a variety of freight. Key Responsibilities: Loading a range of general interstate freight, including oversized, blended and long length to legal capacity and blend freight to achieve maximum payloads; Loading and unload mezzanine floor trailers, line-haul trailers, local vehicles and containers; Manual handling; Ensure yard/working areas are kept organised and tidy; Following safe operating procedures and comply with company policy. As a successful candidate you will: Hold a valid Forklift Licence (LF); Experience operating a Forklift in a similar environment or industry; Experience loading/unloading a variety of freight including oversized, ugly, long lengths, general and non-palletised freight; Be able to manually handle freight up to 20kgs; Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders; Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised.
