About this Role: We are currently looking for enthusiastic and skilled bar and waitstaff to join our team for the upcoming yachting season. As a front-of-house, you will be working in cocktail parties while cruising around the Harbour. You will work closely with the onboard service team to provide top-notch service, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and create lasting memories for our guests. In this role, you will be: Bar Service: Preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including classic and custom cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, with a focus on presentation and quality Maintaining the bar area, restocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with all safety and hygiene standards Waitstaff Service: Providing table service and canape service during meals to a silver service standard, ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests Anticipating the dining needs of the guests in advance, and going above and beyond for special requests. In both roles: Interacting with guests in a friendly and respectful manner, catering to their needs and preferences Answering questions about the yacht, destinations, and onboard amenities Understanding and respecting the confidentially of our high-profile clientele Assisting in organizing and executing special events and gatherings on the yacht, such as cocktail parties, themed dinners, and celebrations Collaborating with the Housekeeping team to maintain a clean and organized environment throughout the yacht, including guest cabins and common areas Working closely with other yacht crew members to ensure seamless coordination and excellent service delivery To be successful in this role, you will require: Previous bar or waitstaff experience with boats, yachts or charters is an advantage Experience with canapes and drink service Great Attitude & Punctuality Strong verbal communication skills Well presented with a high standard of personal and work hygiene Adopted a personalized approach, interacting with regular customers and memorizing their usual orders Commitment to customer satisfaction and excellent service Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) competency card Why Should You Join the SixthSense Family?
