Join us as a Design Manager As one of our Design Managers, you play a pivotal role in successfully delivering design outcomes of iconic projects and operational assets for Lendlease by consistently delivering high quality, customer led solutions and creating positive urban design legacies. This role is a terrific opportunity for an experienced architectural practice and/or design manager who is looking for a blended role where you can couple your passion and technical skill in design excellence with your incredible stakeholder management and project delivery ability. About the role Our Design Managers focus on delivering ambitious standards of design across our national portfolio of urban regeneration precincts and retail assets. Through deep relationship building and stakeholder management you will work closely with our Development team, Asset Management teams, and Tenants to create places that blend commercial success with aspirational lifestyle outcomes with a sharp focus on effective coordination, efficiency, and top-notch design. Other responsibilities will include (but not limited to) Contributing to design drawings/strategies and plans. Development of key asset packs in collaboration with our asset design managers Key point of contact for all fitout queries and issues, ensuring solutions are prompt and driven to completion. Management of external parties to ensure a time effective and successful tenancy delivery process. Coordinate, review, and approve fitout documentation ensuring it follows design standards. Creating and implementing fitout guideline strategies, as needed. Attend Tenancy Delivery Meetings as needed and update tracking report. Inspection of tenancies and completion of Fitout Inspection Reports (FIR) for renewals, or new leases. Site inspections during fitout process to ensure in line with design approval and workmanship. Provide design and/or architectural reviews of Tenancy Drawings/Centre's proposed plans. The skills you'll need. You'll need to have a relevant degree (or equivalent qualification) in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design or similar. Your experience to date will ideally derive an architectural firm where you have gained relevant urban regeneration and/or retail sector experience. This will be coupled with experience in managing design on a range of briefs, through the pre-construction and delivery phase. You'll be comfortable with managing a varied portfolio of work and have great prioritisation skills with a strong delivery focus. As well as Incredible stakeholder management skills - you will be able to build strong relationships and partnerships internally and externally - all with a core focus on delivering design excellence. Experience working on significant urban regeneration projects, with some exposure to placemaking and urban design. Highly advantageous if you also have experience from within office/industrial type projects.
