About the role: As a Construction Inspector, you'll be based out on various sites in the SEQ region working with Principal Contractors as well as internal Construction teams. Your main function will be to ensure that constructed works meet Queensland Rail requirements, specifically ensuring: compliance with project documentation and specifications, standards and procedures are being followed, and carrying out regular safety and quality inspection. About you: Have had experience in a construction supervisory role, and or quality role. Be safety driven. Have a high ability to work autonomously whilst being organised and efficient. Have a high drive and passion to delivery quality jobs. Have a sound level of literacy and computer skills. C Class drivers' licence General Construction Induction Card (White Card). Have knowledge about civil engineering and building construction industry standards and practices in earthworks, bridgeworks, railway station and facility works. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. High level of knowledge of quality assurance principals and procedures in administration of civil and building contracts under a quality system specification Excellent communication skills - with ability to establish and develop working relationships with stakeholders.
