About the Role We have an exciting opportunity to work as a Cafe Assistant / Barista to operate our on-site cafe. This is your opportunity to delight our residents, guests and staff with a delicious cup of coffee, breaky or lunch working at John Flynn Village Burwood East VIC. This is a permanent part time position working Wednesday and Thursday 0830 - 1630. Work in a cafe that operates more like a small family business. You will provide excellent food and beverage service, work the till, manage stock, and adhere to food safety standards. Within weeks you'll remember our regular's coffee orders. You'll promote a welcoming atmosphere at the village and fill the café with amazing aromas that will be hard to resist. About You To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have: Barista related qualification or relevant experience is highly desired. Although this is not essential if you have the right attitude to learn to keep our residents, staff and family members caffeinated Experience working in a hospitality environment. Minimum food safety certificate required - however we are willing to support the attainment of this Exceptional interpersonal skills.
