About Goodstart Australind Goodstart Early Learning Australind is set in the centre of our family-friendly coastal community, close to local schools, shops, buses and main roads to make the daily drop-off and pick up easier and stress-free. We are a small centre but pride ourselves on being able to offer a more home-like environment and one on one care to the children so that they can grow and learn at their own pace. We offer a range of services to each family, including exciting educational programs for all age groups and a variety of events and activities that make us part of the great community we live in. All of the rooms are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework , with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning. Our centre was assessed by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority and we received an overall rating of ‘Exceeding’. This process is a National Framework, which rates all Childcare Centres across Australia against the National Quality Standards. Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre. Outside, we have three areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment. We have two swing sets and slides, a rocky river water feature, outdoor dining areas, veggie patch, sand pits, vertical flower bed and lots of shade. Our wonderful cook provides fresh, healthy and nutritious meals for the children each day. The centre provides all meals during the day, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. The meals that we provide are healthy and nutritious and we also cater for children who have allergies to certain foods. Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
