Assistant Centre Administration Officer - Clerk Grade 1/2Corrective Services IndustriesNunyara Community Offender Support Program Centre Location – Long Bay Correctional Complex, Matraville Employment Type – Ongoing, Full-Time role Salary - $70,694 - $76,857 pa Superannuation Leave Loading About the Role What you’ll do As part of this role, the ideal candidate will be required to provide a high level of support to senior executive and work teams with the successful delivery of correctional administrative duties to ensure effective operation of the work area. The successful candidate will be responsible for, however is not limited to the following: • Undertake a variety of administrative activities for and on behalf of the Manager and/ or a work team with or without collaboration of relevant stakeholders to ensure activities are completed effectively; records updated, feedback provided and inquiries clarified as required. • Maintain manual and digital records accurately and securely ensuring these are accessible. • Respond efficiently to all inquiries by stakeholders, customers and clients • Generate routine correspondence with a view to exchanging factual information whilst exercising discretion and judgment at all times, seeking supervisory direction as necessary. • Participate in taking meeting minutes and provide a strong level of support, follow up on actions as necessary whilst keeping all participants informed • Provide general administration, executive support, finance, procurement, warehousing and stores or records maintenance What we’re looking for • Current driver licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle in the course of performing the role • Current forklift license or willingness to obtain (when required).
