We are currently seeking experienced Interstate MC Drivers to join our Adelaide Team operating B double combination. This is secure, stable work that will suit professional drivers looking to drive new, modern equipment for an employer open to understanding and agreeing on work patterns that best suit your lifestyle and personal circumstances. We are currently seeking experienced Interstate MC Drivers to join our team undertaking various runs operating from Melbourne in the Eastern Seaboard. These services will primarily travel on routes to Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane and various combinations of these capitals as operationally required and will travel via Mildura, main depot every week. The role will involve but not limited to the following: Modern well-maintained fleet, one truck/one driver policy Daily vehicle checks and fitness for duty. Delivery of allocated freight to required locations as per customer timeslot. Loading & unloading required and any loading/ unloading, breakdowns, delay times, holdover etc. will be paid separately. Understanding of load restraint as per National Load Restraint Guidelines. Refueling and cleanliness of allocated equipment. Promptly report any mechanical faults, delivery issues or delays. You will be paid a non-taxable Driver allowance per run. You will be paid an award travelling allowance for overnight sleep in the truck. This will not be payable where an employee is provided with suitable accommodation away from the vehicle. We would make every attempt for all over drivers to be home on the weekends. Uniforms are provided at the start of employment. We assure you full guidance and support from our Operations Team. To be successful in the role you will possess the following attributes: Hold a current MC license. At least 2 years Interstate MC experience. Reliable and enthusiastic. Clear communicator and must be punctual. Strong understanding and commitment to safety. Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) accreditation would be an advantage. Training and induction will be provided. To be eligible for full time employment you will be required to meet the following employment criteria which will include but not be limited to; Federal Police Check Full Medical and functional testing.
