Your role: As the Administrative Officer (AAEP) you will contribute to the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing relevant and timely administrative support to the Principal and Business Manager. You will work within existing guidelines to provide basic resolution of problems by reference to established procedure, consulting the Principal or Business Manager for matters that are more complex or non-routine. Responsibilities include: Undertake routine activities including reception (telephone and counter enquiries), First Aide, correspondence and general administration, maintaining school records, such as incident reports, processing incoming and outgoing mail and email. Knowledge of Inclusive Education, the National Consistent Collection of Data and adjustments for students with disability is preferred but not essential. Provide high level of administrative support to the Head of Special Education Services. Prepare minutes of meetings, school policy documents, reports, forms, newsletters, and TEAMS invitations. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. school and departmental staff, parents, students, and community members) The role will require the successful candidate to demonstrate empathy, emotional intelligence and support to students. Administrative tasks including arranging appointments, coordinating stakeholder meetings, correspondence and general administration, collating student data and processing incoming and outgoing correspondence Maintaining student details on OneSchool such as medical records, scanning and uploading evidence of learning, assessment, medical reports, meeting minutes, forms and referrals. Assist with completing requisition forms to order resources and equipment, being aware of the Department of Education purchasing procedures Ability to work in a fast paced environment and can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the school.
