We currently have vacancies for Part Time and Casual Pathology Collectors to join our Darwin team. These positions will suit self-motivated individuals wanting to work within Collection Centres or a domiciliary setting, who can demonstrate an attention to detail, along with excellent communication skills and a strong focus on outstanding customer service. Specific duties include; Collection of blood and other samples from patients Attending to the care, storage and processing of pathology specimens Attend to paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are correct in a timely manner. Skills and experience; Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone Exceptional time management skills Sound clinical knowledge. A valid Driver's License Ability to communicate effectively with the collections team referring, doctors, patients and other stakeholders. Ability to work alone and participate in weekday and weekend shifts across any of our collection centres. Basic computer skills Rights to work in Australia.
