About Casual Resource Unit (CRU) CRU is the casual Nursing and Midwifery Bank at Barwon Health that is resourced using Registered Nurses, Registered Midwives (/- dual registration), Psychiatric (RPN or PEN) and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses. CRU provides staffing resources twenty four hours a day, seven days a week across the clinical units of Barwon Health to cover planned and emergent shortfalls within the service. About the role Casual staff members have the opportunity to work across a range of sites and a variety of speciality bed based services. Based on your prior experience, as a Casual through CRU you will be able to choose to work in one or more of the following areas: Aged Care Acute Medical Acute Surgical Midwifery Mental Health Sub-Acute About you As the successful applicant you will: Have minimum 12 months of clinical experience Have excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrate sound clinical knowledge and excellent clinical skills Provide evidence based, high quality care to patients Delivering consumer-centred care that meets best practice standards and in line with Barwon Health requirements Please refer to the relevant attached position description for further details about the role.
