First Nations Administration Trainee — Loganholme, Logan Area

Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Full-time Business Traineeship MEGT Recruitment and Management Services is currently seeking a First Nations Business Trainee who is focused on securing and completing a Certificate III in Business over a 12 month period. This is an amazing opportunity to gain an accredited qualification as well as real on the job skills, in a friendly and supportive working environment. This is a key role within MEGT (Australia) Ltd. People and Culture office based in Loganholme. Reporting to our First Nations Manager, the primary focus of this role will be to learn all about Administration and Customer Service, together with developing skills across some People and Cultures functions. What will you be doing? Support customer inquiries Supporting with engagement within various First Nations communities. Assist with projects and event coordination when required. Assisting respective team members with administrative tasks such as data entry; digital filing; system administration and other support tasks. Use initiative to prioritize and maintain own workload Demonstrate a high level of integrity and communicate openly and honestly What are we looking for? Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively & cooperatively as part of a fabulous team Good customer service skills, demonstrating a mature and professional approach including a professional phone manner Good level of digital literacy across multiple Microsoft suite applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint Demonstrated commitment to the completion of a Business Traineeship Accurate and efficient data entry skills with excellent attention to detail Flexibility to travel intrastate and interstate if required The successful candidate will be required to complete a Police Check and Working With Children Check prior to appointment What's in it for you?
