About the Role: As a Teacher Aide you will contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities. Responsibilities include, but not limited to; Provide in-class support for students with complex specialised learning & behavioural needs as directed by the classroom teacher. Support students in reading activities and other literacy and numeracy duties. Assist teachers and students with sporting activities and school excursions. Communicate effectively and demonstrate high levels of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member. Show respect, empathy, confidentiality, tact, reliability, and sensitivity to students and their families. Provide clerical assistance including typing, duplicating teaching materials, and organising off-site activities.
