Your New Employer: Matrix CNI Matrix CNI, a prominent Network integrator to government and corporate clients in NSW with strong customer focus and work ethics, is looking to supplement their capabilities by employing a Network Support Engineer that they can develop and mentor. They are looking for an outgoing and positive professional with hands on technical experience who enjoys interacting with clients. This is a self-sufficient role in a dynamic organisation (19 employees) using modern technologies and a culture that places staff development and client service at the forefront of their business. Your New Role: This role would suit a versatile candidate who will work in the capability of 1st and 2nd level networking support and will assist the Senior Network Engineers in implementation works. You'll be an outgoing and positive professional with minimum 2 years hands on technical experience who enjoys interacting with clients. You'll be hungry to learn and grow your skills working with modern technologies. This is a self-sufficient role that will be mentored and developed by more senior technical resources in the company. Matrix CNI will also fund certifications and training for the successful candidate. Your key responsibilities will include: Level 1 and 2 networking help desk support. Ticket management, triage and escalations via ServiceNow Supporting with the implementation of customer projects and changes. Working closely with external customers in service-related issues Working within external customers support teams to provide timely resolutions within SLA's; and Onsite support to external customers across Sydney, and on rare occasions, across NSW. Your Background and Experience: Minimum of 18 months networking experience; Experience with Aruba Networking Technology such as Aruba Switch and WLAN solutions, ClearPass or Airwave highly regarded; Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following the is desirable: Deployment and Management of Windows in both physical and virtualized environments; Microsoft Exchange / 365; Virtualisation technologies UNIX systems; Scripting languages; Firewall / VPN / Security infrastructure; Microsoft SCCM / SCOM / SCDPM / SCVMM; VoIP / Cisco UC / IP Telephony; Storage technologies; and Backup technologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Experience providing telephonic support to clients or internal stakeholders; and Above all else, you will have a positive attitude and the aptitude to learn and grow. You'll be a team player who wants to contribute and add value.
