The Inclusion teacher will be working with Years 3 and 4 multi-age classes. They are an extension onto the teaching team and as such will undertake co-teaching with the classroom teachers. An understanding and experience with ASD and SWD (physical impairment) is an advantage. The Inclusion teacher will assist the classroom teacher to note down PLP's as well as deigning adjustments for learning and assessment and reporting. Staff meetings are Tuesday afternoons-mandatory meeting Inclusion Meetings- Case Management - Thursday mornings before school. Availability to these is critical. Your Role As the Teacher you will: Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs for every student in allocated classes and groups. Contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives and school planning. Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment. Contribute to and assist with the management and further development of personnel, financial, information and technology, assets and facilities resources of the school to ensure their optimum use in meeting educational and departmental objectives Teaching in Queensland: The department is responsible for the delivery of quality education services to all Queensland students in state schools and recognises teachers and their commitment to teaching through a range of rewards and benefits.
