Optical World Elsternwick are a patient centric practice offering an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Reception/Optical Assistant to join our progressive optometry group with branches in Elsternwick and Ashburton. About the role Are you a friendly and organized person with a passion for customer service and an interest in eyecare and fashion? This is a part time position where you will be one of the faces of the practice. Guaranteed minimum 14hrs a week Sharing responsibilities between Elsternwick as your main location, but with the potential need for hours at our Ashburton practice. May include Saturday work Support for continuing education and ongoing training and development Responsibilities include Warmly greet patients and visitors Efficiently manage appointments and enquiries Maintain a tidy and organised reception area Handle administrative tasks with precision and professionalism. Assist patients in selecting eyewear that suits their style and vision needs Assisting customers in with frame selection, and some basic lens advise if required Frame adjustments and minor repairs Demonstrated skills and abilities You are a positive and highly motivated individual who thrives in a team environment, helping us to ensure our patients are provided with the best service and care.
