Position title: Senior Administration Assistant Position number: E20007664 About the role: Victoria Police is currently advertising (1) full-time ongoing Senior Administration Assistant within North-West Metro Region. As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of high level administration services to the Region's Commander CBD/West office. Your duties will include: Provide professional high level administration services to the Commander and Staff Officer. Perform a broad range of office support and computer-based tasks, including preparation of reports, general correspondence, keyboard and data entry, spreadsheets, and database activities. Ensure effective delivery of administrative support activities associated within the Region. Arranging appointments, preparing agendas, drafting minutes, and maintaining records and systems within the office. Coordinate, or participate in, a range of projects, including researching and preparing information and briefing reports for senior management and other stakeholders. As the successful applicant, you will have: Demonstrated experience in the provision of high-quality secretariat and administrative support services. Strong Microsoft Office and computing skills, with a high attention to detail. Effective communication, liaison and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with senior management, other government departments and people from all sections of the community. Good conceptual and research skills, with the ability to value add to information and to assist in the identification of issues. Ability to work autonomously and prioritise work with minimal supervision. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask. Requirements and relevant information: One (1) VPSG-3 full-time ongoing position available. Position located at the Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands. While this position has a nominated usual place of work, the position may be required to work at other locations, in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Victorian Public Service Agreement.
