Casual Retail Assistant (Gift Shop) Department of Parliamentary Services Casual Hourly rate - $35.83/hour About the role Situated at the iconic Parliament House in the heart of the CBD, the Retail Assistant (Gift Shop) delivers an exceptional level of service for the patrons of Parliament's Dining Rooms, retail outlets and during functions and events. The Parliament Gift Shop stocks a number of branded items with the Parliament Crest and also a large variety of gifts which are Australian Made from Australian Owned businesses. There is also a selection of products which are made in Melbourne. Reporting to the Manager, Catering and Retail Operations, this role (referred to internally as Customer Service Officer) sits within a tight-knit, professional team who share a passion and commitment for showcasing locally grown produce while offering a quality, customer-centric experience to all guests of Parliament House. About you You are an enthusiastic customer service professional, with a track record of success in the provision of front-of-house services. A great communicator, collaborator and team player.
