With continuous growth and expansion nationwide, the company is eager to add new, talented individuals to the team : The Parts Counter Sales position in our Charlestown, IN facility is responsible for providing our retail and installer customers with a high level of service. They also support management in the accomplishment of all assigned tasks, including maintaining inventory control, store appearance, and customer relations. Responsibilities & Duties: Greet and advise customers on the selection of products and their uses both in person and over the phone. Sell goods and services to accounts and prospects to support the overall goal of sustained growth. Develop over the phone, computer-based, and in-person customer service relationships. Continually grow technical, product, and application knowledge of parts essential to the heavy-duty vehicle aftermarket. Use of catalogs and parts manuals to identify and sell heavy duty trailer and truck parts. Suggest sale of related parts when identical replacements are not available. Keep current on new products and product updates and answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and product features. Effectively communicate features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers. Operate the point-of-sale system Karmak to search for parts and customer accounts. Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery. Assist with inventory and processing of incoming stock. Assist service and leasing department with identification of parts. Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Heavy duty service or automotive parts experience - Preferred Previous sales experience - Preferred Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service Ability to obtain a Chauffeur's License and DOT Medical Card if needed (company paid) Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) if needed (company paid) Basic computer & math skills Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25lbs frequently. Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally. Ability to lift up to 75lbs infrequently.
