John Tonkin College (JTC) is seeking to appoint a dedicated, innovative and enthusiastic Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) Teacher to join their team. The successful applicant should have high expectations, and display a commitment to excellence, use a range of pedagogies and have the ability to establish and maintain a positive classroom learning environment. You should be flexible, adaptive, and able to apply the strategies of differentiated instruction and explicit teaching. You will ideally also be able to incorporate current and emerging technologies to best meet the needs of our students based on researched informed practice. The successful applicant should possess an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be able to teach students of varying ability levels across Years 7 to 12 in a highly engaging manner. We are seeking a teacher who is passionate about teaching HASS to both lower school and senior school students.
