Your new role As a Phone Sales Consultant , you will be an integral part of Essendon Mazda ’s sales team, responsible for engaging with potential customers over the phone. You will be responsible for acquiring new clients and nurturing existing ones, with a primary goal of achieving customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include selling vehicles and additional services, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and keeping customers informed about the latest vehicle knowledge and offerings. What you'll need to succeed To excel as a Phone Sales C onsultant , candidates should possess a range of skills and qualities: Handle incoming sales and purchasing enquiries for vehicles. Contact customers via phone with prepared scripts based on lead type and source. Generate new business through cold calling, mailing, and following up on referrals/leads. Understand customer objectives and buying criteria to build long-term partnerships. Provide detailed advice and service to meet and exceed customer needs. Demonstrate vehicle features and explain extras, warranties, and services. Promote various business products and services, maximising earnings. Close sales by overcoming objections and negotiating terms. Update customer database and complete necessary paperwork accurately. Stay updated on vehicle features, trends, and regulatory changes.
