The company has a wellness program which includes, investment in external education courses, paid leave days for hitting your work anniversary, flexible working etc. About the role: Due to growth we are seeking both a Senior Civil Design Engineer and a Civil Group Leader who has worked in a similar Engineering Consultancy environment. The Senior Civil Engineer will contribute to projects in a technical capacity, running projects through a Civil Design team and joining the existing Senior Civil Engineers in leading projects. The Civil Group Leader position will lean towards a management focused role. Working with the Civil teams throughout its offices, scheduling and tracking projects, submissions, EOI's, tenders etc. 75% of the role will be management and 25% technical, most likely supporting the design teams with the more difficult design issues. You will work on a range of projects. Roads Stormwater management Water quality assessment Water & wastewater infrastructure Flood analysis & reporting Subdivisions Earthworks modelling Dams Traffic movements Civil inspections Retaining & pavements Essential skills that you will require for this role are: Ideally a minimum of 5 years of experience working within Civil Design Engineering Experience gained designing and managing projects Experience gained working across Civil and Stormwater projects Undertaking regular coordination and interface with key clients and stakeholders Experience gained with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other software packages such as MUSIC, DRAINS etc. Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially report writing Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards Why apply?
