Workshop Administrator — Mackay Region, Queensland

As this role is supporting the workshop, your hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 7am until 3.30pm. Reporting to the Project Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include: Attend Safety meetings; Raise Purchase Orders as required; Collate and process credit card transactions; Receipting; Entering employee times in the paysheet; Supplier expediting; Quoting, and follow up on customers; Asset auditing; Assisting the Workshop Supervisor as required; Generating invoices for customers; Assisting with telephone enquiries; Raising of jobs required within the Job Management System; Updating and maintaining the online ordering systems for Customers and/or Suppliers; and Assisting with the preparation of workshop reports as required. What you’ll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will be a self-starter who is able to work autonomously. Ideally, you will have prior experience in a similar role, within a workshop environment. Additionally, you will have: Proven experience in the use of Microsoft Excel is a requirement of this role; The ability to achieve outcomes with changing priorities A professional approach to customer enquiries; High level of organisational skills; The ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a fast-paced environment.
