Lead the development and review of complex hydraulic system designs, ensuring strict compliance with relevant Australian standards, building codes, and workplace health and safety legislation. Effectively communicate complex technical information to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, taking a leadership role in technical discussions. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and team members, demonstrating a proactive and accountable approach. Independently manage ambiguity, make critical decisions, and provide mentorship to junior team members. Take the lead in seeking and implementing feedback to enhance personal and professional growth. Qualifications and Skills: To excel in these roles, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: For Intermediate Hydraulic Design Engineer: A relevant technical qualification, such as an engineering degree or equivalent. Accreditation under the Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme with the Fire Protection Association Australia (preferred). Min 1-2 years of recent hydraulic design engineering experience, with a preference for exposure to High-rise Residential, Commercial, and Fit-out projects. Strong understanding of Building Services project phases and delivery methods. Familiarity with hydraulic system construction processes, defect reporting, and system commissioning. The ability to establish and maintain positive relationships. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. For Senior Hydraulic Design Engineer: A relevant technical qualification, such as an engineering degree or equivalent. Accreditation under the Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme with the Fire Protection Association Australia (preferred). min 5 years of recent hydraulic design engineering experience, with a proven track record of leading projects in various sectors. Expert-level understanding of Building Services project phases and delivery methods. Proficiency in hydraulic system construction processes, defect reporting, and system commissioning.
