ABOUT THE ROLE: Be an ambassador for the Hotel, positively representing and promoting our hotel. Be a key part of the guest experience, interacting wherever and whenever possible. Show your flair for breakfast cooking and deliver well presented, tasty breakfast dishes and cuisine for the dining area. Prepare and restock the small, stylish buffet. Ensure the kitchen is well stocked and ordering up to date. Keep the kitchen clean and tidy. ABOUT YOU: Be efficient, "hands on" and organised to work through those 'mad rush' moments with a smile. Team player with a passion for delivering food at a standard that complements our Boutique Hotel. Ability to work under pressure, taking initiative and working both independently and collaboratively. Positive mindset and a "can do" attitude. An understanding of food safety, WHS and HACCP principles. Reliable and motivated. Good availability to participate in a roster 7 days a week and public holidays. Opportunity for additional hours front of house. Initiative and a great team player that can build connections with both guests and fellow staff. Good personal presentation. Full working rights in Australia essential to be considered for the role.
